Private Singing Lessons

We teach students of all voice types from rock to classical singers.

Lesson Conditions

• weekly half or one hour lessons
• lesson term based on the public school term
• term payment is made at start of term however after 1 term of lessons, arrangements can be made to pay the subsequent terms in 2 installments - i.e: (1) at start of term, (2) in week 6
• once your lesson time  is booked, it is locked in and kept for you
• lessons missed by students are not made up or refunded

We provide several concert opportunities per year for students to  gain valuable performance experience.

Students are provided with information for competitions and eisteddfods and encouraged to enter in order to gain further performance experience.

Students are also encouraged to complete AMEB practical exams.

We Can Provide The Following One-off Sessions:

• Musical Theatre Performance
• Dialect Coaching for individual actors as well as theatre groups
• Spoken Voice Coaching for school / university presentations
• Preparation for auditions for professional & community theatre

Our ethos:

"We do not audition students for our singing studios... we think that auditioning in this way is not about the students but the teacher. Our passion is for the students.

We believe that everyone is entitled to develop their singing skills - whether they are hopeful of a singing career or just want to sing their children to sleep at night. Singing is great for our health & we should all have the enjoyment of being able to 'open up & let the sound pour out' without fear of what others will think of us.

We believe that the voice is made up of 4 parts:

1. Air

2. Initial vibration

3. Resonance

4. Emotion

and we work with our students on using the physical aspects interlinked with the emotional aspects of vocal production."
